Looking for a picturesque venue to host your event? Consider the Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum. This beautiful location is a spectacular place for your event whether it is a wedding, anniversary celebration, renewal of wedding vows, or any elegant affair. Guided tours on the museum exhibits are offered every Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Overlooking beautiful Lake Michigan, Villa Terrace will create a stunning backdrop for your event. FESTIVAL SEASON IN FULL SWING
Henry Maier Festival Park is in full gear for the festival
season with the following events scheduled:
PrideFest on June 11-12 – Entertainment, food
and fireworks are all on the itinerary for Wisconsin’s largest
/Gay Pride Fest.
Asian Moon Festival on June 17-19 – Enjoy cultural
demonstrations, Asian cuisine and authentic folk dancers for this three-day
festival
Walk Against Family Violence on June 18 – Milwaukee Women’s
Center is the benefactor of this 5K walk including entertainment and
refreshments along the walk route.
Polish Fest on June 24-26 – America’s largest
Polish festival is right here in Milwaukee, enjoy authentic food and
entertainment from this lively festival.
Summerfest from June 30 – July 10 – The world’s
largest music festival is on Milwaukee’s picturesque lakefront.
Eleven days of music on eleven stages, entertainment, shopping and delectable
food fare.

EVENT IDEAS – TIMING IS EVERYTHING
One of the best things you can do to ensure your event is successful is to have goals and deadlines. Use the list below to organize your event:• Six months to one year before event – determine location, perform site survey, apply for special permits, if applicable
• Six months before event – select theme, call Karl’s to secure rental equipment needs.
• Four months before event – Karl’s can provide CAD layout of event site.
• Three months before event – Confirm rental item needs such as tenting, tables, chairs, linens, etc.
• Two months before event – Finalize décor and venue arrangements, select a security company if necessary.
• Six to four weeks before event – Finalize CAD layout with Karl’s, apply for occupancy permit if necessary.
• Four to two weeks before event – Finalize security arrangements.
• One week before event – Confirm all vendor arrangements, property owner to mark private underground utilities.
• Two days before event – Karl’s to install tenting and deliver all ancillary items, security on site.
• One day before event – Final walkthrough of tent and event site to ensure proper equipment.
• Day of event – Security on site, relax and enjoy the event.
