Event
Ideas – Progressive Supper Party
Does the party always seem to be held at your home? Suggest
a “progressive supper party”. The first home
serves the appetizers, attendees then “progress”
to the next home for salad or soup, continuing onto the
next house for the main entrée, finishing at the
last home for dessert. Have each host plan an activity or
theme which will spark great conversation. Are you apprehensive
about hosting a food course? Rent elegant china and glassware,
soup tureens, silver chafing dishes, unique linen tablecloths
or even a cake stand for displaying the desserts. Progressive
parties help alleviate the host funding the entire cost
of parties which includes food and beverages. Consider serving
alcoholic beverages only at the final destination to deter
over-serving alcohol to your guests. Contact your event
consultant at 414/831-7000 for rental equipment needed at
your next party.
