Shamrock Social Break up the middle of March with a Shamrock Social … invite your guests to the event with shamrock-shaped invitations telling them of the “wearing of the green”. As your guest enter the room, imagine green twinkle lights shedding ambiance onto 48” round dinner tables covered with green linen tablecloths. Accent colors for napkins and table runners can be your choice of white or black. Even a silver lame’ table runner would add sparkle to the room. Silver mirrors located in the center of the tables would reflect the twinkle lights above. Menu choices may include Irish soda bread, Irish casserole, chicken and mushroom pie, ham or corned beef and cabbage with potatoes, Bailey’s cream cake, with beverages including Irish coffee or punch. Have a best-dressed costume prize; ask each guest to give their best Irish toast while drinking traditional ale. Karl’s Event Rental can help you with the tables, linens, china and flatware you will need to create a memorable event. Subscription Information We hope you found this edition informative.
