A Good Deal
Cocktail tables that are at cabaret height add a festive atmosphere to your party. A smaller table, 30” or 36” in diameter, generates more conversation and compels people to converse more during a cocktail reception. During the months of December and January, mention this E-Update when you place your order for these in-stock cabaret-height cocktail tables and receive a 20% discount off of the rental price. The offer is not valid with other coupons or incentives. This offer must be mentioned at the time of order placement and cannot be combined with any other offer.

Event Ideas
In Hawaii, luaus are a traditional way to celebrate life’s momentous occasions (birthdays, graduations, weddings, etc.). Often they are held in backyards under tents with elaborate decoration, food and music and begin at sunset. Invitations can be written on a large silk flower and sent to your guests with the pertinent luau information. As your guests arrive, shower them with their own flower lei that you can make from fresh flowers or can be bought at a local craft store. Hold your event in a traditional pole tent with tiki torches adding special lighting, beverage table that is skirted using a raffia hula skirt and tables dressed in vibrant colors, or an island green, or island white linen with complementary napkins. Silk flowers and leaves can be strewn on the table as well. Center and side poles should be decorated with leaves, ferns and tropical flowers. Menu choices can include roast pig, salmon, sweet potatoes, poi, rice entrees and a tropical fruit assortment. Beverages should include mai tai’s, pina coladas or a rum fruit punch. Add to the ambience by playing an array of music such as Polynesian drums, Keali’I Reichel, Don Ho or even Elvis’ Blue Hawaii CD’s. As the night progresses, hold a “hula dance” contest … one for the women and one for the men too! Karl’s Event Rental can provide tenting, tables, linens, glassware and chafing units needed for your luau.
