EVENT SHOWCASE
Lights, Camera ... Action in Miller Park

Hollywood temporarily moved into Miller Park to film Touchstone Picture’s Mr. 3000 movie. During the month of July, Director Charles Stone and his film crews, hundreds of actors and extras, were on the field and in the stands for this Disney film to be released spring 2004. Bernie Mac portrays a Milwaukee Brewer who reaches 3,000 hits and then retires only to find out that due to a statistical error, he is really three hits short of the milestone number. He then comes out of retirement to try and get the three hits he needs. With limited space for catering needs, Past Time Productions contracted Karl’s to install a 50’ x 50’ clearspan tent, lighting, HVAC, tables and chairs for catering for cast members. Set-up of this tent was on the outer northern concourse area allowing the caterers easy access to their cooking locations. Karl’s also provided tables and seating inside Miller Park on the concourse for the 1,000 “extras” that participated in the movie. If your venue is limited on space or accommodations, contact Cindy Kaminski at 414-831-7029 for your temporary structure requirements.
