Thinking
Out of the Box
Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra’s annual fundraiser, “Symphony
on Safari” was held in an 82’ x 214’ clearspan
tent on Harbor Island hosting an elegant dinner by Shully’s
Catering along with safari-themed entertainment. Karl’s
erected the clearspan tent that withstood the winds up to 40 m.p.h.
however, spirits were not dampened …
• “By far the most intriguing site… Harbor Island
…Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra League staged its annual black-tie
ball … under a heated, clearspan tent with wood flooring.”
Kathleen Arenz, R.S.V.P Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
• “Just a quick note to say thank you. You had things
well handled on Saturday evening & we appreciate that you
were the one completely responsible for actualizing this ball”.
J.Christl
• “Diana & I thoroughly enjoyed last nights MSOL
Ball!! … When I first heard where the ball was going to
be held I was concerned with the location, every thing was excellent
great food, very good martini's …and the décor made
you forget that you were in a tent!! Once again, a big thank you
to you and your committee for an excellent event.” R.&D.
Brzoskowski
• “I just wanted to let you know that we had a great
time at the Ball. … We both agreed that the energy and fun
factor was very high, and that there was a great mix of people…
Shully's did an excellent job…The pre-dinner music lively
and exciting. We thought the dance band was very good …Overall
- in T’s words "the best one yet". I can't imagine
how difficult the logistics were, so please pass along our congratulations
to the chairs and co-chairs on a job very well done. I had one
of the most unique dinner seats in Milwaukee - facing west, watching
the lights in the skyline over Summerfest, the Hoan Bridge and
the approaching storm - very, very cool.” J. & T. Lacy
